Privacy policy

1. Local records and their purpose

Panorama Measure organizes site photos and panoramas, edits dimensions and annotations, assists with measurement, and creates reports and backups. You do not need a Panorama Measure account. Projects, areas, photos, panorama originals, dimensions, text, hotspots, private notes and calculation references are stored in the app's library on your device. Image processing, annotation, search, report generation and measurement calculations take place on the device. We do not operate a cloud library that receives or synchronizes these project contents.

Original files you import may contain capture times, camera models, GPS metadata, people, addresses or other personal information. The app preserves originals for reference and backup. Personal information in images, annotations or text is not automatically detected and fully removed.

When you use AR or LiDAR measurement, the app processes camera images, tracking and spatial information. Saved captures may include photos, depth, confidence, camera parameters, poses and measurement references for review and recalculation. LiDAR is used only on compatible devices. The current app does not request GPS location permission; GPS embedded in imported photos is a separate source of information.

2. Permissions and camera connections

The app uses camera access, photo selection, local networking and Bluetooth when required by the relevant feature. You choose photos and files through system pickers and can manage applicable permissions in iOS / iPadOS Settings. Denying permission may prevent a capture or connection feature from working; it does not cause existing records to be uploaded or deleted.

When you choose to connect an Insta360 or DJI OSMO 360 camera, the app and camera components process device identifiers, camera models, network addresses, Wi-Fi details, connection status and media information needed to discover the device, establish a connection, browse photos and transfer files. Some connections use local HTTP, TCP or UDP channels provided by the camera. Not all camera communication is end-to-end encrypted.

Insta360 connectivity and image processing use its third-party SDK. DJI connectivity uses BLE / Wi-Fi communication implemented in the app. Camera and SDK behavior also depends on the manufacturer's implementation and applicable policies. Panorama Measure's own code does not integrate advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party usage analytics, and does not actively invoke Insta360's log-upload interface. This is not a claim that we have independently verified every behavior of closed-source components. For information about Insta360's own products and services, see the Insta360 Privacy Policy. That vendor policy is not a statement specific to the SDK version integrated into this app.

To maintain pairing, the app stores a DJI pairing identifier and remembered camera identifiers and names in local preferences, and camera Wi-Fi credentials in system Keychain. The current app does not have a dedicated button to remove these Keychain items. Uninstalling the app should not be relied on to remove them.

3. Purchases, trials and restoration

Apple StoreKit handles the free trial claim, one-time purchase and purchase restoration. The app reads product information and verified transactions to determine access, trial dates and revocation or refund status. Necessary trial clock anchors are stored locally and are not used as advertising identifiers.

We do not receive your payment card number or Apple Account password and do not operate a payment or receipt-upload server. Apple handles payments and transactions under its own terms and Apple Privacy Policy. The trial does not renew automatically or charge you when it ends. A purchase occurs only when you choose to buy the full version.

4. Exporting, sharing and backups

You initiate exports, sharing and backups. Locations in Files, cloud storage providers, recipients or other apps you choose may transfer information off your device and handle it under their own policies. Device-level iCloud or computer backups depend on your system settings; they are not an app-provided cloud synchronization service.

PDF / JPEG reading exports exclude private notes and structured location fields by default and regenerate images without copying the original EXIF / GPS tags. Visible information such as faces, house numbers, annotation text and project names may remain, and additional content you choose to include affects the output. Review the preview before sharing.

Complete project packages and editable backups preserve originals and their metadata, private notes, project structure, and relevant revisions or calculation references for restoration. PDF / image privacy options do not apply to complete packages. Complete backups are not currently password-encrypted. Integrity checks are not encryption. Choose suitable storage locations and recipients.

5. Diagnostics and contacting us

Local diagnostics may contain camera models, connection status, file paths, error codes or underlying error descriptions needed to display progress and investigate failures. Error details are not guaranteed to be fully redacted. The app has no developer-operated automatic diagnostic-upload channel. Independent operating-system or third-party diagnostics are governed by their own settings and policies.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, to respond to and investigate your request. Send only what is needed to reproduce the issue, and remove unrelated private photos, locations, client information, credentials and log content first. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and satisfy applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may use the contact address above to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us.

6. Retention, deletion and your controls

You can edit, export, back up or delete your records. Deleted records normally enter Trash, with a current retention period of 30 days; you may also permanently delete them yourself. Cleanup runs when the app is running or refreshing. Historical references, shared assets or backup snapshots may affect when underlying assets are released, so deletion is not a promise to erase every byte immediately on day 30.

Deleting a record in the app does not automatically delete copies already exported, sent, saved in cloud storage or included in device backups. Uninstalling usually removes the local app container, but does not revoke Apple purchase records or guarantee removal of Keychain items or external copies. Manage those copies separately. We cannot remotely access or restore project information stored only on your device.

7. Security and children

The app uses mechanisms such as the iOS / iPadOS app sandbox and Keychain to protect applicable information. It does not provide a separate app password lock or password encryption for complete backups. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Panorama Measure is intended for site documentation, design, installation and work records. It is not directed at children and does not provide a public community or chat service. Contact us if you believe information voluntarily sent to our support team includes inappropriate personal information about a child.

8. Website visits

This website serves static pages directly from our server. When you visit, our server and hosting provider may process your IP address, requested URL, access time, browser information, and necessary access or error logs to deliver pages, protect the service and troubleshoot problems. Website traffic information is handled separately from project contents stored in the app’s library on your device.

Our site code does not include advertising or third-party analytics scripts, and does not set cookies for advertising or analytics. You do not need to register an account or submit app project contents to browse this website.

Server access and error logs are rotated daily and periodically cleared according to the server’s log retention settings. We retain website traffic information only as needed to maintain the service, investigate security incidents and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. 9. Policy changes
